Add price increasing and decreasing conditions to set different rates for different scenarios
This article will show you how you can increase or decrease the rates based on different questions or criteria. Even you can multiply the rates based on questions.
1. Navigate to More → Global Settings → Pricing
2. Select Add Price or click on pencil icon () to edit already created pricing
3. When creating a price you can give any appropriate name. Then, select a price type. You can select any required price type.
4. Scroll down to the heading called "Price Increasing/Decreasing Conditions"
5. Click on button "Add Conditions for Another Price" (Need to hit the button "Add Conditions for Another Price" to add each individual condition)
6. In this case we want to increase hourly rate by $5 when its a holiday & category is "Babysitter"
- In text field for "Increasing Value" enter the price "5"
- In Where section select a question as "Booking Category" / Here you can select any required question to adjust a pricing
- Choose a category "Babysitter" / Here you can select any required answer to adjust a pricing
- Hit button "Add Condition" to add one more condition for a holiday
- Select a question "The booking is on holiday" -> Operator "Is" -> Answer "Yes"
7. Similarly we can decrease the rate by setting the negative number in a "Increasing Value"
8. In this case we want to decrease the rate by 2 dollars if the booking day is Monday
- In text field for "Increasing Value" enter the price "-2"
- In Where section select a question as "Day of week of the booking" -> Operator "Is" -> Answer "Monday" - Refer the screenshot
9. We also have a feature to multiply the rate,
10. In this case we want to multiply the rate by 1.5 if the child is sick
- In text field for "Multiply Value" enter the value "1.5"
- In Where section select a question as "Booking - Special Consideration" -> Operator "Contains any" -> Answer "Child is Sick" - Refer the screenshot
