Why is the last login date not accurate?

Have you looked at the last login date and been sure that it should be more recent because you know that person has been in the system more recently? What you probably need is the last active date!

The last login date specifically track when someone actually logs into the system by putting in their username and password. The reason someone can take actions in the system without their last login date changing is that once they log in, they usually stay logged in! If they do not log out and then log back in, their last login date won't change.

What you may want instead is the "last active date". If you want to view the last active date, click the gear icon on the candidate or client table:

In the search bar type in and select "Last Active"

This will add the Last Active date to your table!

The last active date keeps track of whenever someone takes some action in the system.

The last login date is most especially valuable for keeping tabs on if someone has logged in for the first time. If you have new clients or candidates and you are sending to them to log into the system, as long as that is blank you know they haven't logged in yet.
