Why is an email not sent when I change the status

Issues with sending emails when changing a status. Email not popping up or sending

When you go to change a status and an email does not pop up, here is how to troubleshoot the issue.

First go to More-> Email templates
Make sure the template you are wanting to send is on the correct status. If you have changed the verbiage/wording of the status. It will have been disconnected from the email template. Make sure an email template is connected to the status.
