What to do if an email I sent has bounced?

If you are sending an email from the system and the status in the logs shows that it has bounced, there are a few things you can check and do!

If an email you are sending to a particular email is bouncing when sending from your dashboard, there are a few possibilities:

  1. Try to confirm that the email is spelled correctly! Sometimes people make mistakes when typing in their email and you'll notice by looking closely.
  2. To test this, if you send an email from your personal email (Gmail, Outlook) and not through Enginehire, that means the email address is fine, but they've been blocked from receiving from Enginehire (likely because they flagged an email as spam or junk and all future emails are bouncing)
  3. In this case, assuming the person still wants to receive emails from you, please contact us with the email address and we can remove them from being blocked in our servers.
