Submit a Feature Request to the Community
Sharing a new feature idea is always appreciate. It is the best way to improve everyone's experience using the platform.
We Want Your Ideas.
Every single idea added to the community is put into the queue to be created. The timeline for creating them can vary. The best way to get a new feature up and running is to share your amazing idea with all of our users and let them vote on it.
Once an idea is posted into the Community, everyone using the platform is notifed with a link for them to immediately vote it up.
How To Add an Idea Into The Community Step By Step.
1. From Mission Control select Community.
2. Select Start a New Topic.
3. Add a Title.
It maybe best to write a 2-4 word description and/or new feature. This will be the subject line every Enginehire customers receives after a Create Topic is selected.
4. Add a Complete Description for users to understand the feature idea.
5. Use the tool bar to add images, links, change fonts and their sizes, etc.
6. Select the category as Feature from the dropdown menu.
7. Select Create Topic to share this idea with the community and every Enginehire user.
View New Feature Ideas.
1. From the Community Dashboard view the new feature request by selecting New Features.
The New Feature section is the place to vote all other feature requests up.
2. Select Open Request to view unfinished and yet to be created feature ideas.
Select Completed and Live to view and learn more about useable features.
3. View the highest voted New Features by selecting Sort by votes.
4. Vote features up or remove your vote by using the Vote up and down arrows.
5. Once a new feature has been developed and deployed for use a link to an article will appear in the post.
Unless a user has removed themselves from receiving notifications of posts they have created, posts they have commented on, or all community posts, users will continue to receive updates on the new feature.
