Shift Job Work Flow Options

This reviews different options within Enginehire for shift jobs, from how jobs are broadcasted, posted, and assigned/accepted

Enginehire offers different options for broadcasting and assigning shift jobs. You can also use additional add-on settings for these settings.

Option 1:

Client goes to submit booking. They see who is available for this date & time. They select the candidate. The candidate then accepts or declines. If accepted, they both get confirmation of the job.  Within this setting you can have condition settings to make sure only certain candidates appear based on type and statuses.

NOTE: With this option, your candidates must keep their availability updated. Otherwise, they will not appear if they don't put it in under my schedule.

Option 2:
When the client submits a booking, the job is automatically broadcast. Candidates are then accepted on a first-come, first serve. Once accepted, they both get booking confirmations for the job. Within this setting, you can have condition settings to ensure only certain candidates get the broadcast based on type and status.

Option 3:
Client submits a booking, the job is automatically broadcasted or you can manually broadcast. The candidates mark interested in the job. Then, the agency manually assigned. You can have it go to certain candidates and get the broadcast based on types and statuses.

Notes on auto broadcast settings:
If you decide to auto-broadcast, you can have it go to certain statuses, tags, and types so that the correct candidates receive the broadcast. You can also have it go to the client's favorites first, then if they are not assigned, it goes to everyone else X amount of hours.

If you need multiple candidates assigned to a job:
There is an option where if you need X amount of candidates for a job, you can select how many you need. Using model number_fillers_need for that question. Then, have the job be in a middle status, such as partially filled, until all candidates have been selected to fill the position.

Some Additional settings:

If a job is not accepted within X period of time, you can turn on the setting to notify the admin that the job has not been accepted/assigned yet.

You can send reminders to candidates and clients about their shift jobs. The reminder can be sent X number of hours before the shift or more than once. For example, it could be sent 24 hours and 1 hour before.
