Learn What A Status Is From Top To Bottom And How to Use Statuses To Trigger Emails For Clients And Candidates

With this in place, changing a user's status will trigger a customizable email to alert them. Use statuses to trigger automatic emails and remove steps to simplify connecting with clients, just like with candidates.

Divide your workflow and process into the key moments, those will be known as statues. Place statuses in the order of you flow with the first the being your earliest contact with a new users. Changing a user's status can trigger a customizable email to alert them of their next steps, as well as trigger a task notification for an admin, and many other actions.

Use statuses to trigger automatic actions and remove steps to simplify connecting with clients, just like with candidates.

Use a Status


1. In the Admin tab of a selected Client, select the Status Dropdown menu directly below the Client's name.

2. Select a Status other than the status the client is currently in. 

3. Once a new status is selected, the client is updated to that status and an email pop up will appear.

4. This email can be edited and sent or select the X icon on the email to close the screen and a notification will not be sent to the client. 

5. To edit this email template for all of these updates going further, select the Pencil Icon at the top of the email.

Start with the first client status and customize each email with the proper information for that status they are now in. 

Try it out.

If you have created a test profile with your own email address, you can see how the status change email notification is when it is send. 

For brand new statuses created by your agency or new to the system a popup asking if you would like to add an email notification will appear.

Create a Status

1. Select Settings.

2. Select Global  Settings.

3. Select Candidate or Clients. 

4. Select Candidate Statuses Settings.

5. There you can add a status and change the order.

It is important to consider your workflow before adding statuses and avoid moving the order as these will trigger parts of your process.
