# Send notification email to client when a candidate expresses interest in their placement job

## This article explains how to configure the system to send a notification email to clients when a candidate shows interest in their placement job

Navigate to **More→Global Settings→Jobs→Job Board Settings**![](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-17-2024-11-18-15-0441-PM.png?width=688&height=217&name=image-png-Jun-17-2024-11-18-15-0441-PM.png)

Then click on "**Placement Jobs**" Tab and find the setting "**Send notification email to client when a candidate expresses interest in their placement job**"  
Enabling this setting will reveal an additional option to filter out the notification settings according to your preferences.
