[Templates & Communication](https://learn.enginehire.io/en/knowledge/templates-communication?hsLang=en) # Modify the new booking email notification template for the admin ## This article has step by step guide on how to edit the default email notification that goes out to the admin when a client creates a shift job There is a dedicated area in your dashboard where you can manage all of your email templates. To access this navigate to **More → Email Templates** **![](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/1-Jan-08-2025-05-21-51-5278-PM.png?width=688&height=240&name=1-Jan-08-2025-05-21-51-5278-PM.png)**   There are some email templates that are built into Enginehire and may not be visible here but are sent automatically based on a certain event. If you wish to edit such default built-in email templates, you can create a new email template and use the relevant trigger, which will essentially override the default/built-in email template. We are going to do the same in this case.  \- Click on **"Add Template"** \- Type a name to label this email template for your own reference \- Select **"Job"** as the audience \- Search for the Trigger **"Shift Job Created Admin Notification"** ![Shift Job Created Admin Notification](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Shift%20Job%20Created%20Admin%20Notification.gif?width=688&height=387&name=Shift%20Job%20Created%20Admin%20Notification.gif) \- Enter text into the subject line field to display the body of the email template. \- Click the "Insert Profile Fields" button to add tags that automatically populate information from the client profile into the email. ![](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jan-20-2025-08-28-27-3749-AM.png?width=1788&height=814&name=image-png-Jan-20-2025-08-28-27-3749-AM.png) \- Alternatively, you can scroll down to find additional tags listed below.
