How to use incognito (private browsing) mode.

This is to show you how you can enable or run your browser in private browsing mode, also known as incognito mode.

Incognito / Private browsing mode, is also considered a safe browsing mode, where your browsers does not retain any of your browsing history, cache, cookies, or data. 

This is very useful for emulating a first-time visit to a website and also for testing.

 

Most browsers allow you to go into incognito mode by pressing the following keys:

On Windows:

CtrlShiftN

On Mac:

CMDShiftN

You can also right-click on your browser's icon and select "New Private Window" (if using Safari)

 

Or if you already have Safari open, you can click on "File" then select "New Private Window".
