# Edit An Existing Applications Questions.

## Applications and intake forms are often tweaked as you realized what changes can enhance your own workflow.

1\. Select the **Pencil Icon** next to question you'd like to adjust. 

- The label is what the field is called internally and not seen by anyone completing the form.
- Label When View Profile is what anyone filling out the form will see.
- A field remark is great to share a note on how to properly answer the questions.
- A placeholder is example text in the field to be filled out.
- An option list is used like a checkmark box. Each line in the box will become an option.

### Now It's Your Turn.

Use the above steps to edit 1 to 2 questions in your existing application. 

Changing the wording as shown above will not disrupt past answers.
