How to customize the “error message” when you enter an email or phone number that’s already in the system.

This is very helpful when you want to add more texts to guide your candidate or client on what to do next if they are having further trouble while filling application form.

This is the default error message user will get if the entered email is already present in system. 

To change the error message, follow the steps given below. 

Step 1:
Go to MORE-> Application and Profile Builder

Step 2:
Once there, look for the candidate or client application and click the settings / gear icon

Step 3:

In the settings popup window click on "Instructions & Messaging" tab and look for "Duplicate email warning" / "Duplicate phone warning". Edit the message in respective text editor. Save the changes.

Result:

This is how you will see the updated error message when trying to enter duplicated email.
