General Settings For The App

This article walks through the different general settings for the app experience.

When you are setting up your agency on the Enginehire platform, there are a few app-specific settings you will want to set up before notifying candidates and clients of the offering. Below are descriptions and options for each one.

 

To access these settings from your agency dashboard, go to Settings > Global Settings > App Settings > General Settings.

  • Only allow candidates of these types to use Android & iOS mobile apps: 

    • Select which candidate types can utilize the app. For instance, you can limit access to candidates labeled as 'Babysitter / On-Call Sitting / Temps.' If left blank, all candidate types will have access by default.

  • Only allow clients of these types to use Android & iOS mobile apps: 

    • Select which client types can utilize the app. For example, restrict access to clients labeled as 'Babysitter / On-Call Sitting / Temps.' This can be useful if your agency charges an extra fee for app access. If left blank, all client types will have access by default.

  • Client Registration Form Link

    • This link directs clients to the registration form. To find it, navigate to Builders > 'Application & Profile Builder' > open your Client registration form in a new tab > Copy the URL. If left blank, clients accessing the app without an account won't see a registration option on the login page.

  • Label for the client registration button on the app

    • Customize the message clients see when accessing the registration form link. Use clear language to ensure clients understand the purpose of the button and maintain brand consistency.

  • Candidate Registration Form Link

    • Similar to the client registration form, this link directs candidates to the registration form. To find it, navigate to Builders > 'Application & Profile Builder' > open your Candidates registration form in a new tab > Copy the URL. If left blank, candidates accessing the app without an account won't see a registration option on the login page.

    •  If left blank, when candidates without an account who access the app before creating an account will not see an option to register on the login page of the app

  • Label for the candidate registration button on the app:

    • Customize the message candidates see when accessing the registration form link. Ensure the language is clear and aligns with your branding to enhance user experience.
