[Templates & Communication](https://learn.enginehire.io/en/knowledge/templates-communication?hsLang=en) # Customize Default Email That Shares New Candidates to Clients ## The "Assigned New Candidate" email is a default in the Enginehire Platform but it can be adjusted and customize to suit the particular needs of agency. From Mission Control select **Templates**. Select **Email Templates**. 3\. Select **Add Template**. Many default templates are sent on your behalf but are not templates that can be edited until you create them as a template.  4\. Name the **Template**. 5\. Select the Audience as **Client**. 6\. Select the Trigger as **Assigned Candidate**. 7\. Select the **Status** for it to send. These are the matchmaking statuses.    8\. The body is the current default email's body. Use the available tags showing at the bottom of the image to pull select areas from the candidate's profile, including a link to their profile. 10\.
