# Add Conditions to Email Templates

## Use Conditions to harness an email template's trigger and narrow its focus to send exactly when you need it.

1\. From Mission Control select **More**. 

2\. Select **Email Templates**. 

3\. **Select the Email Template** to add matching conditions or create a new template. 

4\. At the bottom of the email template select Add Matching Conditions. 

Matching Conditions will add another layer of criteria a user must meet for them to receive this particular email. 

5\. Add the matching conditions, you can create many addition matching conditions.

NOTE:  
Regardless of how many conditions are on an email, only one of them needs to be met for that email to be send based on its criteria.
