What to do if Bright Horizons back-up care job fails to assign "Reason: Cannot assign job, Bright Horizon caregiver name does not match."
In order for auto staffing of Bright Horizons back-up care jobs to work properly, the name in Enginehire must exactly match the name in the back-up care portal
If a Bright Horizons or other back-up care shift job fails to assign, and you see a message in the shift job history "Reason: Cannot assign job, Bright Horizon caregiver name does not match.", it means the name does not match exactly between the back-up care portal and Enginehire.
Please make sure the spelling of the name in the back-up care portal is exactly identical to the candidate name in Enginehire. The back-up portals rely entirely on the caregiver name, there is no email address or phone number to match, that's why it's critical for the names to match.
If you get a mismatch, check the list of names in the portal dropdown and make sure it matches.
A common cause of problems is middle names. For example, in Enginehire the candidate name may be "Mary Jane Smith", but in Bright Horizons it will be "Mary Smith", and this results in a mismatch.
