Turn An Image Into A Fillable Document.
Use an image as the base for a document and add text boxes, checkboxes, signatures and more.
1. Within your dashboard, click on More → Document Templates
2. Select Add Template
3. Give your template a name and select the Target Audience
4. Select Image-Based Template
5. Click Add Image Page(s) and upload your document (pdf or png/jpg formats accepted)
6. Once the image is uploaded, click and drag in each section/box that you want the user to complete.
7. Select the Field type. In this example, we're using a Textbox. You can select to pre-populate this field with information (i.e. the user's last name), determine whether the field is or isn't required, is Admin only, etc.
8. To save your work, click Submit.
9. To create consecutive fields, like in a table format, click and drag your mouse over the entire table area (in the example below, select from the top right corner of List B to the bottom right corner of List B).
10. Again, select your field type, check Consecutive Fields and whether the fields are Vertical (if not selected the default is horizontal). Enter the number of consecutive fields and click Submit to save your work.
11. If your document is multiple pages, scroll to the bottom of the document builder and simply click on each page to add in the fillable fields.
12. If your document does not already have a Signature required field, you must add Signer's and select your Signature Options. When ready, click Next: Advanced Settings.
13. Click each of the advanced setting menus to expand and make your selections where applicable. Click Update to save your work.
The video below is of an earlier interface of Enginehire but the details are still helpful!
