App Onboarding

SETTING UP YOUR BRANDED APP - EASY STEPS

Before we create your branded app, here's what you'll need:

Step 1: Obtain a DUNS Number

  • A DUNS Number is essential for creating an Apple account for your app.
  • Check if your business already has one by using the DUNS Number Lookup Click here.
  • If not, request a DUNS number Click here.

Step 2: Provide the App Logo, Name, Color, Short and Long Description.

  • We recommend using your business logo.
  • App name can not exceed 30 characters.
  • Short description can not exceed 80 characters
  • Long Description can not exceed 4000 characters
  • Color hex code: Primary and Secondary.

Step 3: Set Up Privacy Policy and Terms

  • Include link to your privacy policy and terms & conditions on your website within the app. If you do not have one, you can create one here: https://termly.io/resources/templates/privacy-policy-template
  • The privacy policy should have a dedicated page on your website, usually titled "Privacy Policy" and accessible from the website's main menu or footer. Submission of the apps for approval requires the completion of the "Data Safety" section, for which the privacy policy is an essential component.

Step 4: Understand Costs

  • Apple charges $99/year, Google charges $25/year for developer account licenses.
  • These costs are separate and paid directly to Apple and Google.
