Set Up Start Date Task Template Triggers

Start Date task template triggers allow you to automatically create tasks based on the start date of an assignment, ensuring that follow-ups such as checking in with clients or candidates are scheduled at the right time without manual effort. This helps maintain consistent workflows and ensures that no important post-start actions are missed.

Create and Trigger Tasks for Clients

Set up a task template for clients and trigger it based on the assignment start date to automatically create client To-Dos. 

Step 1: Log in to your agent dashboard and click More > Advanced Templates as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 2: Click the Task Templates option.

Step 3: Click the Add Template button.

Step 4
: Enter a name for the template, select Client as the User Type, choose Start Date as the trigger, and add a subject/title.

: Scroll down and click the Create button to proceed.

The task template will be created successfully.

Step 6: Go to Clients in the navigation bar.

: Select the client for whom you want to trigger the task.

Step 8: Click the Matches tab from the available tabs.

Step 9: Click the Add Candidate button.

Step 10: Select the candidate you want to add to the client, and then set the desired status for that candidate.

Step 11: Scroll down and click the Advanced Options option to expand the details.

Step 12: Select the Start date for the template to trigger, then click the Add button to continue.

Step 13: Refresh the page, and you will see a new to-do appear in the To Do section.

Create and Trigger Tasks for Candidates

Set up a task template for candidates and trigger it using the same start date to automatically create candidate To-Dos. 
 
Step 1: Follow Steps 1–5 from the Create and Trigger Tasks for Clients section, but select Candidate as the User Type while creating the template. 

Step 2: After creating the task template for the candidate, follow the next same steps (6–12) in the above section. 

Step 3: Now, click on the candidate you selected in step 10 from the candidate list.

The task will be successfully created and will appear under the To Do section of the candidate.
