Set Up and Conduct AI Candidate Interview Calls

Configure AI-powered interview calls to automatically interview candidates using a predefined interview section. The AI interview agent asks the configured questions, records the candidate's responses in the interview section, and sends a notification email when the interview is completed, helping streamline your recruitment process and reduce manual interviewing.

Enable AI Interview Calls

Configure the AI interview agent by enabling interview calls, defining the interview system prompt, and specifying where interview completion notifications should be sent.

Step 1: Log in to your agent dashboard and click More > Integrations, as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom and click the AI Voice Agent Integration option to expand and view its details.

Step 3: Click the Interview AI Call Configuration option to expand and view its details.

Step 4: Check the Enable AI Interview Calls checkbox.

After enabling this option, you can initiate AI-conducted interview calls to candidates. During the call, the AI agent asks questions from the selected interview section and automatically records the candidate's responses in that interview section.

Step 5: Enter the System prompt for Al Candidate Interview call.

You can use the following tags in the system prompt. They are automatically replaced with the appropriate values during the interview call.

  • [[candidate_name]]
  • [[agency_name]]
  • [[questions]]

You can also use the AI ASSIST feature to improve the quality of the system prompt. To learn more, refer to the Use AI ASSIST Feature article.

Step 6: Enter the email address where you want to receive notifications when an AI candidate interview call is completed.

You can add multiple email addresses by separating them with commas.

Step 7: Click the Save Configuration button.

Initiate an AI Candidate Interview Call

After configuring the AI interview agent, you can start an AI interview call directly from a candidate's profile using any available interview section. The AI agent will ask the configured questions and automatically record the candidate's responses in the selected interview section.

Step 1: Open the profile of the candidate you want to interview, then click More > Interview.

Step 2: Click the AI Call Interview button.

Step 3: Select the interview section that you want to use from the dropdown list.

Step 4: Click the Start AI Interview Call button to begin the interview.

The AI interview call will be initiated, and the AI agent will ask questions from the selected interview section. The candidate's responses will be recorded automatically in the interview section.

Configuring the AI interview agent does not automatically activate it. After completing the configuration, contact Support to connect your account to the AI interview agent and complete the activation process.
