[Application Forms & Profiles](https://learn.enginehire.io/en/knowledge/application-forms-profiles?hsLang=en) # Set statuses to control returning applicant functionality ## Manage how returning candidates and clients interact with your hiring workflow by setting up application statuses. This setup defines how the system processes individuals returning to complete or resubmit an application. Once configured using the steps below, these rules will directly control the returning applicant experience. Currently, the statuses are configured as **Pre Application** and **Registration Started**. Enter the email address associated with your previous application to retrieve your saved progress.
