Set a Time Limit for Automatic Shift Job Assignment

Automatically assigning candidates to shift jobs can save time, but it may not be suitable for jobs that begin shortly after they are created. This feature allows you to prevent automatic assignment for shift jobs that start within a specified number of hours, giving your team more control over filling urgent or last-minute bookings while continuing to use automatic assignment for jobs with sufficient notice.

Let’s get started 🚀

Step 1: Log in to your agent dashboard and click More > Global Settings as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 2: Click the Jobs tab from the available tabs.

Step 3: Click the Shift Job Auto Assignment option to expand and view its details.

Step 4: Check the Automatically assign an available candidate when the client books a shift job checkbox.

Step 5: Enter the number of hours in the Do not auto assign if a new job is starting in less than X hours field. 

Shift jobs that start within the specified number of hours will not be assigned automatically.
