[Jobs](https://learn.enginehire.io/en/knowledge/jobs?hsLang=en) # Restrict Shift Job Bookings Before Job Start Time ## Restrict clients from booking shift jobs within a defined number of hours before the job start time. This setting allows you to control how close to the start time a shift job can be booked and helps prevent bookings from being created too close to the job start. You may also make use of the **AI ASSIST** feature to enhance the quality of the text.
