Manage Application Questions

Manage the questions in an application by adding new questions, editing existing ones, rearranging their order, or removing questions that are no longer needed. This allows you to keep applications up to date and ensure you collect the right information from candidates.

Add a Question to an Application

Add a new question to an application builder to collect additional information from candidates. You can define the field label, profile label, field type, and other properties based on your requirements.


Step 1: Log in to your agent dashboard and click More > Application & Profile Builder, as shown in the screenshot below.


Step 2: Locate the Application Builder where you want to add a new question, and then click the corresponding pencil icon.


Step 3: Scroll down the page and click the Add Field button to begin adding a new question.


Step 4: Provide all the required details necessary to add a new question.

Field Label

It is the text shown to candidates/clients when they are filling out the form. For example, "Do you have anything else to add?"

Profile Label

It is the text that appears when viewing the profile after the question has been answered. It provides clarity for what information has been provided.

Field Type

The field type dropdown determines how the answer is captured (e.g., multiple choice, text input, checkbox). It allows you to customize how the question is structured for maximum flexibility.

 

When selecting the Field Type, refer to the All Field Types Explained document to understand the available options and choose the one that best suits your needs.

 


Step 5: If desired, you may include any additional property from the list of available properties.

 

Step 6: Click the Save button to proceed. The system will successfully add the new question.

 

 

Edit an Application Question

Edit an existing application question by updating the field label, profile label, field type, or other available properties as needed.

Changing the wording as shown above will not disrupt past answers. 

 


After you make all the required changes, click the Save button to confirm them.

 

Reorder Application Questions

Reorder application questions to control the sequence in which questions appear to candidates. Adjusting the order helps improve form flow and ensures related questions are grouped logically.

 

Delete an Application Question

Delete an application question that is no longer required. Removing unused questions helps keep the application clean and focused on relevant information.

Be sure you want to proceed. Deleting a question will remove all the data that question has ever received. 


Locate the question you want to delete in your application, then click the Trash icon to delete it.


The question will be successfully removed from your application builder.
