# Identify a Client’s Payment Method

## Identify whether a client has an ACH or credit/debit card payment method on file by checking their payment information. This helps you quickly determine which payment method is associated with the client account.

Let’s get started 🚀

**Step 1**: Log in to your agent dashboard and click the client whose payment method you want to check.

**Step 2**: Click the **Profile** tab to navigate to the client profile.

**Step 3**: Click the **Payment Information** option in the left-hand navigation bar.

Here, you can identify the payment method associated with the client account:

- **Credit/Debit Card**: The card details will include an **expiration date**.
- **ACH**: The **bank name** associated with the account will be displayed instead of an expiration date.
