How to Use the Tag Sweep Feature for EH Admins
Clean up tags on candidate dashboards after deletion, renaming, or bulk updates. Prevents outdated or incorrect tags from lingering.
The Tag Sweep feature helps EH admins clean up tags on candidate dashboards. It is useful in cases where:
-
A tag has been deleted but still appears on candidate dashboards.
-
A tag has been renamed or unchecked in the admin view but still shows with its old name on profiles.
-
Bulk updates are performed that could leave outdated tags on multiple profiles.
This ensures candidate dashboards are accurate and up to date, preventing confusion caused by lingering old tags.
Where to Find It:Global Settings → Enginehire Admin Settings → Sweep user Tags
When to Use:
-
After renaming a tag.
-
After deleting a tag.
-
When performing bulk updates affecting multiple profiles.
How to Use:
-
Navigate to Global Settings → Enginehire Admin Settings → Tag Sweep.
-
Select the tags that need to be cleared or updated on candidate dashboards.
-
Execute the sweep to remove old or outdated tags from all applicable profiles.
-
If sweeping does not appear to work immediately, refresh the page to see the changes.
-
Always perform the sweep after renaming or deleting tags to ensure updates propagate correctly.
Important Note:
Since sweeping affects multiple candidate profiles at once, handle it carefully.
Tips:
-
Bulk unchecking tags is not currently supported, so use delete + sweep to remove tags from multiple profiles.
-
Sweeping after deletion ensures candidate dashboards no longer show the removed tags.
