# How to Turn Off Auto-Scroll on the Job Board

## If you're noticing that your embedded job board scrolls past the first job automatically, this is because by default, it has an auto-focus behaviour that needs to be disabled.

### Steps to Disable Auto-Scroll

1. From your main dashboard, click on the **"Placement Jobs"** tab.
2. Click on the **"View Job Board"** button.
3. The job board will open in a new browser tab.
4. In the new tab, click on the **gear icon** in the top-right corner (as shown in the GIF below).
5. Look for the option labeled **"Turn off auto scroll on job board"** and make sure to **check the box**.
6. Scroll down and click **Submit** to save your changes.

Once this setting is enabled, the job board will no longer auto-scroll, and candidates will see the first listed position right away.
