How to receive Admin Email notifications based on how Clients or Candidates answer a question on their application
Do you have questions on your Client Registration or Candidate Application that you'd like to be notified about depending on how they're answered? This feature can help!
In this example, the agency includes a question in the Candidate Application that lets applicants select "I want to hear more!" When this email setting is turned on, the agency will get a separate notification every time a candidate selects that option, making it easy to follow up and share more information with interested candidates.
- Navigate to More → Global Settings → Email Templates.
- Click Add Template.
-
Fill in the basic details:
-
Give your email template a name.
-
For Type, choose Admin.
-
Set the Trigger (in this example, we're using the Status Change Trigger).
-
Pick the Audience you want to receive the email.
-
Choose the Status that will trigger the email.
-
- Select Next: Sender & Recipients.
- Expand the menu for Control who receives this email.
- Select Add Matching Condition.
- In the pop-up, find the question from your application (i.e., “Would you like to hear more?”) and click Submit.
- Choose the answer that should trigger the email—here, that’s "I want to hear more!" Select Next: Content to build the rest of your email.
- Enter the email subject, body, and click Create to save your work.
