This will be useful if you don't want to allow clients to edit job when assigned or in progress or in any required status. **Step 1:** More -\> Global Settings  ![](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-18-2025-05-50-17-6524-PM.png?width=1188&height=246&name=image-png-Sep-18-2025-05-50-17-6524-PM.png) **Step 2:** Click on Jobs and select "Shift Job Settings" --\> Client Side Tab ![](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-18-2025-05-54-15-5477-PM.png?width=1531&height=466&name=image-png-Sep-18-2025-05-54-15-5477-PM.png) **Step 3:** Look for the setting called "Job statuses where client can't edit shift bookings" and add the required job statuses to prevent clients from edit.
