How to Hide the Speech-to-Text Button Across the Platform
Learn how to enable or disable the Speech-to-Text button across your platform. This guide walks you through where to find the setting in Global Settings and how to toggle it based on your agency’s needs.
The Speech-to-Text button lets users dictate text instead of typing. However, some agencies prefer to hide this option to prevent accidental clicks or if it’s not needed in their workflow. We’ve added a setting that allows you to easily toggle this feature on or off across the platform.
Step 1: Go to Global Settings
-
From your dashboard, click on More in the main navigation menu.
-
Select Global Settings from the dropdown options.
Step 2: Access Agency Details
-
In Global Settings, click on Agency Details.
Step 3: Open Other Settings
-
Within the Agency Details section, scroll down and click on Other Settings.
Step 4: Locate Preferences
-
In Other Settings, find the Preferences section.
Step 5: Toggle Hide Text-to-Speech
-
In the Preferences section, look for the Hide Speech-to-Text option.
-
Check the box if you want to hide the Speech-to-Text button across the platform.
-
Uncheck the box if you want to show the Speech-to-Text button.
Step 6: Save Changes
-
Click Update Setting at the bottom right of the page to apply your changes.
