Embed Your Job Board on Your Website

Your Enginehire job board lives at its own address, and you can place it directly inside a page on your agency website so candidates browse and apply without ever leaving your site. Anything you post, edit, or close in Placement Jobs updates on your website automatically, so there is nothing to maintain in two places.

Get your job board URL

Before you touch your website, you need the address of your board. Log in to your agent dashboard, click Placement Jobs in the navigation bar, then click View Job Board on the right side of the screen. Your board opens in a new page, and the address in your browser's address bar is the URL you need.

Copy that URL somewhere handy, and keep the whole thing including the https:// at the beginning. For a fuller walkthrough of this step, see View Job Board and Get Its URL.

Add the embed code to your website

Open your agency website in whatever tool you use to edit it and go to the page where you want the job board to appear. Add a block that accepts custom HTML or embed code. Most website builders offer one, though the name differs from platform to platform.

Paste this code into that block:

Then replace JOBBOARDURL with your own job board URL. Leave the quotation marks on both sides of the URL exactly as they are, because the board will not load if either one goes missing.

Save and publish the page.

Check your work

Open the published page in a new browser tab, ideally in a private or incognito window, so you see it the way a candidate would rather than as a logged in admin. Your open placement jobs should appear inside the page, and clicking one should open the full listing.

If the area comes up blank, the usual causes are a missing quotation mark around the URL, a URL pasted without https:// at the front, or a website builder that removes script tags from the block you chose. If your builder offers more than one kind of embed block, try another one.
