# Exclude Work Experience from References

## Prevent work history or experience from being considered as additional references by disabling the Using experiences as references setting. This allows you to control whether candidates' experiences are included as references.

Let’s get started 🚀

**Step 1**: Log in to your agent dashboard and click **More** \> **Global Settings**, as shown in the screenshot below.

**Step 2**: Click the **Agency Details** tab from the available tabs.

**Step 3**: Click the **Preferences** option to expand and view its details.

**Step 4**: Disable the **Using experiences as references** checkbox.

The settings will be saved automatically.
