Disapprove Reference Checks and Notify Candidates
Disapprove reference checks that do not meet your agency's requirements and record the reason for the decision. You can also notify candidates by email so they are informed when a reference check has been declined.
Let’s get started 🚀
Step 1: Log in to your agent dashboard and click Candidates in the navigation bar.
Step 2: Click the candidate whose reference checks you want to review. 
Step 3: Click the Profile tab to navigate to the candidate profile.
Step 4: Click the References option in the left-hand side navigation bar.

Step 5: Select the reference check that you want to disapprove, then click the Disapprove button. 
Step 6: Enter the Reason for Disapproval, then click the Confirm Disapprove button.
The reference status will be updated to Reference Disapproved. 
You can also notify the candidate about the disapproved reference by clicking the Send Email button, as shown in the screenshot below. 
Review the email details, then click the Send Email button.
Reference details and the disapproval reason are included only if you have configured the Reference Check Disapproved Notification email template with Candidate selected as the user type and the appropriate tags in the email body, including [[user_fname]], [[reference_fname]], [[reference_lname]], and [[disapproval_reason]].
