# Customize dashboard terms, word used for "Candidate", "Client", "Shift Job Calendar" and "Placement Jobs"

## You can customize the core default labels of the system to better match the words you use!

Click the gear icon at the far right of the main menu:

You can customize the words used for:

- "Candidate" - Applicants, people looking for work typically
- "Client" - People who are looking to hire typically, your customer
- "Shift Job Calendar" - What you call your short term, temp jobs (if you do this)
- "Placement Job" - What you call your long term job postings/positions (if you do this)
