[Templates & Communication](https://learn.enginehire.io/en/knowledge/templates-communication?hsLang=en) # Configure Email Notifications for Document Views ## Configure email notifications to alert designated recipients when an unsigned document is viewed. Notifications are sent when a user opens the document through a shareable link or clicks the Sign button, helping agencies monitor document engagement and follow up when required. Notifications are sent only when an unsigned document is viewed. Notifications are not triggered for signed documents or when the document is viewed by an admin.  This setting applies only to documents created after the notification email address is configured.
