Configure Email Notifications for Document Views
Configure email notifications to alert designated recipients when an unsigned document is viewed. Notifications are sent when a user opens the document through a shareable link or clicks the Sign button, helping agencies monitor document engagement and follow up when required.
Notifications are sent only when an unsigned document is viewed. Notifications are not triggered for signed documents or when the document is viewed by an admin.
This setting applies only to documents created after the notification email address is configured. Existing documents must be recreated or added again for document view notifications to work.
Let’s get started 🚀
Step 1: Log in to your agent dashboard and click More > Document Templates as shown in the screenshot below. 
Step 2: Click the document template for which you want to configure document view notifications. 
Step 3: Click the Advanced Settings option. 
Step 4: Click the Organization Settings option to expand it.
Step 5: Enter the email address that should receive notifications when the document is viewed by a user. Then, click the Update button.
You can add multiple email addresses to receive document view notifications.

When a user opens an unsigned document through the shareable link or clicks the Sign button, a notification email will be sent to the configured email address.
