Configure Document Expiry SMS and Push Notifications

Configure document expiry SMS and push notifications to notify candidates when their documents are approaching expiration. By setting up SMS and push notification templates, you can help ensure candidates receive timely reminders to keep their documents up to date.

Create SMS Template

Follow the steps below to create an SMS template for candidate document expiry notifications. 

Step 1: Log in to your agent dashboard and click More > SMS Templates as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 2: Click the Add Template button.

Step 3: Enter a name for your template.

Step 4: Select the Candidate option from the dropdown list in the Type field.

Step 5: Select the Expiry Document Notification option from the Trigger dropdown list. 

Selecting this trigger will automatically send an SMS notification when a document is expiring so that they can review and update the document.

Step 6: Enter the SMS message to be sent to candidates in the Message field.

You may also make use of the AI ASSIST feature to enhance the quality of the text. To learn how to use it, refer to the Use AI ASSIST Feature document.

You can also insert tags into the message to dynamically populate information in the SMS. To insert a tag, click the required tag to copy it and paste it into the message.

Step 7: Click the Create button to proceed.

The SMS template will be created successfully and will be used when document expiry SMS notifications are sent to candidates.

Create Push Notification Template

Follow the steps below to create a push notification template for candidate document expiry notifications. 

Step 1: On your agent dashboard, click More > Push Notification Templates as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 2: Click the Add Template button.

Step 3: Enter a name for your template.

Step 4: Select Candidate option as the Audience

Step 5: Select the Expiry Document Notification option from the Trigger dropdown list.

Step 6: Enter the notification title in the Title (Device Notification) field.

Step 7: Prepare the message body of the push notification template.

You can also insert tags into the message body to dynamically populate information in the push notification. To insert a tag, click the required tag to copy it and paste it into the message.
