[Settings](https://learn.enginehire.io/en/knowledge/settings?hsLang=en) # Configure Date Formats ## Configure how dates are displayed throughout your agency and within specific profile or application fields. You can set the default date picker format for the agency or customize the date display for individual date fields based on your workflow. Let’s get started 🚀 ### **Configure the Default Date Format** Use this option to change the date format used by default for date picker fields across the agency.  **Step 1**: Log in to your agent dashboard and click **More** \> **Global Settings**, as shown in the screenshot below.  ![image9](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base/Settings/Configure%20Date%20Formats/image9.png?width=670&height=299&name=image9.png) **Step 2**: Click the **Agency Details** tab from the available tabs. ![image4](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base/Settings/Configure%20Date%20Formats/image4.png?width=670&height=293&name=image4.png) **Step 3**: Click the **Preferences** option to expand and view its details. ![image13](https://learn.enginehire.io/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base/Settings/Configure%20Date%20Formats/image13.png?width=670&height=239&name=image13.png) **Step 4**: Enter the desired date format in the **Default format of date picker field** and **Default placeholder of date picker field** fields.  You can use formats such as:  -
