Configure Caregiver Auto-Assignment Priority

Control how caregivers are prioritized during auto-assignment of shifts. Choose whether assignments are based on proximity or weekly workload, allowing shifts to be distributed according to your staffing preferences.

Let’s get started 🚀

Step 1: Log in to your agent dashboard and click More > Global Settings as shown in the screenshot below.

Step 2: Click the Jobs tab from the available tabs.

Step 3: Scroll down to the Shift Job Auto Assignment option and click it to expand the details.

Step 4: Click the box under the Priority rule for the auto-assigning candidate field to open the dropdown list.

Step 5: Select any option from the dropdown list as required. The system saves your settings automatically.

  • Proximity (nearest first): Assigns the shift to the closest available caregiver based on distance.
  • Weekly workload balance (fewer hours first): Assigns the shift to the caregiver with the lowest assigned hours for the week.

Proximity (Nearest First) is the default option used for caregiver assignment.
