Automatically Update Client Status After a Document Is Signed

Set up automatic client status updates after documents are signed, ensuring requirements are met before clients access key features.

Overview

In some cases, you may want to restrict clients from accessing certain features until they have completed specific requirements, such as signing a mandatory document. To automate this process, you can configure document templates so that when a client signs, their status is automatically updated. This ensures they only gain access to the features you allow once they’ve met your requirements, without you having to update their status manually.

Use Case Example

For example, you may require clients to sign a service agreement before they can request bookings. You could place new clients in a status that does not allow shift job requests. Once the agreement is signed, their status is automatically updated to "XYZ", which unlocks their ability to make bookings.

Similarly, you might choose to restrict other features until requirements are met.

This workflow saves time, reduces manual updates, and ensures clients only access features once they’ve completed the necessary steps.
