[Jobs](https://learn.enginehire.io/en/knowledge/jobs?hsLang=en) # Add, Edit, and Remove Placement Job Statuses ## Customize the list of available statuses for placement jobs by adding new statuses, updating existing ones, or removing statuses that are no longer needed. Adjusting placement job statuses allows you to align job tracking with your workflow and internal processes. To do this, click the corresponding **Trash** icon next to the placement job status you want to remove. ![](https://staticfiles.gleap.io/gattachments/5Zx9QYYvmuROSXnd3bAWaszRh3RUooFzNCH4bjpH6DWPOBOGe7qQPGtrbC4JHmSsEgDe5dGFrAX.png) **Step 9**: Click the **Save** icon to confirm the changes. ![](https://staticfiles.gleap.io/gattachments/qqb0ivRBxvbmAevi03K1fHPMmstrM8wjbiT1MNFyxZxvGSq4F3d5pWcQKFX774UC0eGsO4fsdHI.png)   ### **Troubleshooting: Missing Statuses** #### **Problem** A Placement Job status appears in your dashboard, search filters, reports, or records, but you cannot find it in your configured Placement Job Status list. #### **Possible Causes** This can occur if: - A default status is configured but has not been added to your Placement Job Status list. - A status is referenced by another feature or configuration but has not been added to your Placement Job Status list. - A previously used status was renamed or removed, but existing records still reference it. #### **Resolution** 1. Identify the name of the missing status. 2. Add the status to your Placement Job Status list by following the steps described earlier in this article. 3. Save your changes. 4. Refresh the dashboard or reopen the search filters to verify that the status now appears. 5. If applicable, update any filters, reports, or other settings that use the status. Adding the missing status makes it available for filtering, reporting, and configuration.
