[Data Import & Export](https://learn.enginehire.io/en/knowledge/data-import-export?hsLang=en) # Activate Mapping Functionality for Imports ## Enable Activate Mapping Functionality when importing a CSV to map its Types, Tags, or Locations to the corresponding values in Enginehire. This ensures each imported client or candidate receives the correct Type, Tag, or Location based on the values in their CSV row.   For demonstration purposes, this article uses **Clients** as an example.
